Blind Bowling…Yes, It’s a real thing!

I’m originally from Buffalo NY.  For a good portion of the year the weather is cold and snowy.  Because you are indoors a lot bowling is a popular activity.  I think I’ve been bowling since I was in about fifth grade or so.

When I first moved to North Carolina I didn’t know many people and I found that I really missed things like being on a bowling league.  I was working at a place that employed blind people in manufacturing and distribution and it was brought to my attention that they had a blind bowling league.

I was amazed.  I didn’t know such a thing existed.  I joined the league as soon as I found out about it, and as a result, I have made some amazing friends.  When we start traveling I am really going to miss these guys.  They inspire me and remind me of just what is possible.
